I would recommend a quality 1-6x over that setup.

The height over bore on a parasite optic would be a liability in very close shots (the place you'd actually use it).

A Vortex Razor 1-6x gives you more magnification, and a correct height over bore at 1x. You lose the infinite eye relief, but TANSTAAFL, and the trade off is worth it imo.

The loaded rounds I don't know. You can only get them from private sellers now and they charge highway robbery prices.
The bullets are around $1 each from places like American Reloading (however they're no longer in stock).
The correct powder is also nearly impossible to find anymore (SMP-842) but at least the primers (CCI-41s) and brass (really any, but Federal headstamped are the most correct ones) are easy to source.
No, I don't have the new 'improved' magazine. The PMAG version 3 is supposed to mimic its follower to have proper feeding. Until it becomes an issue, however, I will use Lancers to keep them loaded.

Think of it this way; it'll be an amazing SHTF round, good for most civilian body armor as well as unarmored targets. If there's brief civil unrest you may not need to use much of it.
