I'm a Aussie looking to buy a binocular for maybe under $300. What quality can I expect at this range and what are the best options.
I'm basically going to learn stalking when I move to Kiwiland and live close to a forest.

Don't know what all brands are available in upsidedown-land, but the Vortex Crossfire binos are awesome for a cheap-ish set. Vortex gets really clear coatings on their optics

Disgusting. Anyways I'd recommend Athlon optics, they have some pretty nice stuff in the $300 range and cheaper but I'm not sure how that will translate to dollaridoos or if they'll count as assault glasses and be confiscated. I'll also second Vortex for cheapish stuff.

Yeah no kidding I just checked it out and a search for "binoculars" in all departments yields literally no results that are actually physical binoculars, at least not in the first few pages.
