Realistically, unless Kim just drops his entire nuclear arsenal on Seoul, the elaborate civil defense systems there will solve most of the problems.

You can't stop one million army with just cruise missiles and JDAMs. There's nothing between DMZ and Seoul, no frontline, no echeloned defense, no bunkers, no trenches, no 300k troops to meet the norks. Korean political establishment doesn't believe in war, and overwhelmingly relies on US for its own national security.

Lol idk. None of us are military strategists. Though I would say maybe a preemptive strike on the artillery that the norks have. We know where most are but of course there's going to be some that we aren't aware of. We won't be able to prevent all deaths but as soon a season those arty pieces start firing they would get annihilated from the air.
