u dun fucked up, revolvers are expensive. That said, you can try for used S&W's with keyholes, they tend to sell for less. Also a Ruger Security/Service/Speed Six or GP100.

There are or were plenty of Model 10/64's you could get for $300 or so, I suggest that despite you wanting to be some kind of snowflake. Failing that, a S&W Model 60 in .38 or .357 was police as fuck.

Find a Ruger Security Six in good condition. It has similar aesthetics to a 19, the same size as the 19 (fits in the same holsters), but is paradoxically both far stronger and much less expensive than a 19. You should be able to find one in decent condition for $400.
