It's a Yugoslav SKS. It's still way hot in AZ, so I thought I'd try this...my only worry is whether or not this warps the furniture or something. Anybody try stuff like this?

I would be concerned about bends in the aluminum focusing sunlight at points on the rifle and giving you an uneven heat distribution. Why don't you just use the trash bag method?
