Better asthetics is that the frame is flush and even. It's okay for a magazine to stick out. Bottom looks much worse, because of the breaking line between frame and magazine. Looks like turd shit. At least the Glock is level throughout the grip.

Bottom picture looks horrible if you're running an extendo. Glocks were made for extendos, thus top is best.
