My trophy handguns. I cashed out my shitty income tax return and through sheer luck and timing managed to snag all of my trophies except for the 1911 in three months by buying estate guns (buy a "lot" or "bag full o guns" several at a time just to get the ones I want and sell the rest)

By "luck" a lot of the time people really just don't care that much, don't have any need for, or don't want the guns I am appraising.

The Luger I bought from a lady whose husband toted her along to the gun store in town that's known for used guns. She is a great lady and sold it to me cheap because she knew I would enjoy it. $350 all matching "42" Luger.

The P210 I got when I picked up my check and got a call from a gun shop who didn't want to deal with selling it. I scooped it for $980 with matching box.

The Kongsberg was evidently a war teophy from some dude's dad or grandfather? They wanted an approximate value. Before I got the blue book out I asked if he was selling and what he wanted. $1200, did not blink twice and didn't haggle.

The Colt Viper I got by basically paying for a brand new Smith and Wesson shield that I got at dealer cost and trading straight across. $800

The Python I got for $500 on a sheer stroke of luck in february.

The Diamondback I got for the sum of ~$600. I bought a bunch of guns from a guy getting divorced for $2200. Sold the AR and two 1911s for $2100, then traded the last 1911 to a dealer who gave me 95% of blue book value for trade in on it (a serious derp on his part)

Wrong. You can spend more and get a better functioning gun.
However, you can still spend $600 on a meh quality AR or AK and get training and be safer and a better shooter than someone with a $3,000 SCAR with no training.

My point still stands.

>>34995941

>>
>>34995831
You're a pretentious cunt. You sound like the type of person that buys a Prius or Tesla Model 3 and berates people who drive what they want, even if it's not the most practical.

You know you can get a bunch of rifles AND afford to train with them, correct? Not every semi auto rifle is practical for every application and I would never take something like my competition AR into combat or even use in home defense, nor would I use my A4 build for competition but I'd sure as hell use it for combat.

I'm thinking of buying another subgun or handgun early next year. Currently a toss-up between a Colt Combat Unit 1911, a USP .45 Tactical, or an MP5 clone (dunno if I'd rather have a reverse-stretch or a standard length A4 style).

>Funny story my buddy offered to trade me his USP 45 for my kimber but it was a gift from my dad for my 21st and I have no clue how he would react, the HK was pretty used looking too so theres also that

NEVER trade a dad-gift gun. ESPECIALLY a nice one. You'll regert it once hes gone.

Missing over a dozen now and I have lost the motivation to buy more again.

It'll come back when I find something neat or think of another project.

How old is your 94, and does it have extractor issues? I have one from 27 and it has fte issues on like every 3/10 rpunds

Work the action like you're pissed off at it. I have one from 1906 that also has occasional extractor issues. My 1973 and my 1952 don't.

It's 1946 or 1948, I don't remember which one but it's late 40s and an even number (not sure if they were back to producing 1894s in 1946 that soon after the war, that's why I'm hesitant if it's 46 or 48) but I have no issues with it whatsoever
>>
>>34995989
No. Civilian training classes are nearly worthless unless you're going to do them on a recurring, frequent basis.
>>
>>34999695
Funny story i only have one because of the other. Ordered a gold tiger stripe deegs but when I went to pick it up it was just the plain gold one and had to go back. Said hey Mike I'm not walking out of here without a new gun, gimme that hi point, its my new Deagle.

Actually a superb little thing, direct blowback 45 is fun to shoot.
