Looking for a good shoe or low boot that's great for daily wear and also rugged and durable (range/training focused) without looking like a pile of ass. What do you guys wear on the daily or know works? Pic related as they're in the top-contender list (Lalo Tactical Bloodbird)

>kid that takes JROTC too seriously
Taking fashion advice from /k/ is an awful idea.

Wouldn't a lightweight trail shoe made my merrel be better. Lighter. Strong treads. Breathes well. Dries fast.
I mean it's as if they designed them for tough mudder and spartan races.

I got these recommended at Red Wing shoes. They aren't fashionable in any sense, but they aren't but ugly either. They are THE most comfortable and durable shoes I've ever worn. They are classified as a 'walking shoe', and I'd agree with it. They are fine outdoors unless your are regularly doing muddy trails, they don't have very deep treads.

Kek. I unironically wore hobnail German low boots for about a year. The hobnails all broke because the imports make them from aluminum, but I really enjoyed sliding across a floor like Fred Astaire in them.
Would own again.

dude, they'd have to give me a blowjob on command. But if you say they're that comfy that you'd be seen in public, I'll give 'em a shot as I have a fucked up big toe made worse from surgery.

soccer shoes with screw in magnesium cleats. used to scrape them up on pavement before a game.
3 redcards in one season though, then got singled out by a posse of North Tx neanderthals.

Eh, I wouldn't wear them with shorts, but slacks cover most of them up and they look similar to a dress shoe. Unless you are super self conscious or black, no one is paying attention to your shoes as much as you think.

My brother got those from a dude as a sample test a few years ago before they became commercially available. They're really light but that's really all I can say for them.
