Just traded a 1911 from the Philippines for this beautiful American Ruger Security Six in .357 magnum. It's a blued 4 inch made in 1986 and it's spectacular. Took it shooting and fed it everything from weak Aguila .38 to Buffalo Bore high velocity .357 magnum clocking in at 1,700 fps. Ran like a champ, tight lockup, no freezing cylinder, no problems. So /k/, got anything nice recently?

Every day i wake up i regret ever trading off my stainless 4" SS.

Got an SP-01 and kadet slide recently. The thing is low recoil with 9mm already but the .22 is so easy to control it might as well be a laser gun.

Things a hell of a lot of fun and the triggers starting to break in from the feel of things, from awful to simply ok. or maybe im just getting used to it... Either way good news for me.

100% reliable too so far. Over all im a pretty happy camper, just need another revolver!

Sometimes revolvers have jams. Such as when a bullet goes out of the crimp and the cylinder freezes up and you literally can't "feed" the bullet in the barrel. No body ever said "stovepipe" you aspie. So stop being so autisticly triggered over a word when said word can actually be valid. You're a turd.
>>34974919
The stainless ones are so nice, I would regret getting rid of one as well. I forgot to mention the trigger on the SS is pure sex. The previous owner did the most godly trigger job on it. No light primer strikes either..... Revolvers and 1911's can be extremely addictive.

New holster came today. Galco Kingtuk Airweight.

Fucking love it so far. Actually makes my Glock 19 viable for summer carry, which means I don't have to carry my LCP all the time. Comfy as fuck. I have sciatica so I can't wear a holster that digs into my hip too much.

I want to get a new gunbelt now. Right now I'm rocking a DeSantis E25 (aka poorfag belt), it's a little too big for me, but the size smaller was too small for me.

I want one of those faggy nylon ones so I can get the tightness exactly right for me. Which belts do you recommend. Trying to stay under 70 dollars, but honestly if I see something that has a great reputation and is not too faggy or tacticool I'm willing to spend.

I don't doubt it, I would have been happy if mine was a 6 inch. Since they don't make them anymore though beggars can't be choosers.
>>34975160
Hell yes they are, I've had a 3, two 4's, and a six inch GP100 and I like this Security Six more. Nice grips too, I bought a pair on ebay but they didn't fit because of some cylindrical things behind the ruger emblems. I'll get to fixing it eventually or just getting a new pair.

Also the 2.75 inch one is pure aesthetic bliss.

Posted this in the last RA thread but I'm doing it again cuz I can. CZ 527M in 7.62x39. Going to be my new deer gun because honestly my .308 has been overkill for shooting runty little Georgia deer at 75 yards and I feel unsportsmanlike. QD rings and a PA 1-6 ACSS scope are on the way.

>tfw the rings were over $100
Fuck CZ for using a proprietary dovetail instead of Weaver mounts and making me buy rings priced like they're made of solid gold

Great revolver. Love mine. You will enjoy it. Very accurate. I recommend you unscrew the cartridge plunger and apply blue loctite... it can come loose and keep the revolver's cylinder from swinging shut.

DESU, I'm not super impressed with the quality (though it's better than any Ruger I've handled), but the next step up is quite a bit more coin than a PC S&W. Still excited to shoot it tomorrow, though.

Just picked up this Israeli surplus MK 3 Hi power for $500. first thing I did with it when I got home was remove the magazine disconnect safety and switch out the houge wrap around rubber grips for these nice wood ones. the only other thing I want to do is have the sights repainted as the gun was refinished in gray phosphate and they covered the original white 3 dot sights when they did it.

>>34977071
I've got one of these! It has become my favorite firearm.

.38spl feel like a damn .22 out of it, and even .357mag hot loads don't generate much recoil. It's loud as fuck though, wear good ear-pro.

I had a pistol scope on mine, but took it off as the damn irons are so good it was simply unnecessary.

Cheap speedloaders kind of suck for it. Take a look at the billet speedbee ones, I've had them recommended by several people, and the one I got to handle felt really solid.
>>
>>34977179
Where did you get it? A gunshow?
>>
>>34977213
nah I just saw it on backpage. It had been put up this Monday and somehow nobody else had tried to snap it up. He had originally wanted $540, and while I think I may have been able to talk him down to $450 i didn't want to risk losing out on it. Plus for $500 its a really good deal.
>>
>>34977197
Yeah, the irons seem pretty solid on it. I'm going to replace the front with a Dawson FO, though. The shitty MIM front doesn't really compliment the adjustable LPA rear too well.

I already double up on ear pro since my range is loud as fuck, with people shooting braked SBRs all the time.

I bought a Safariland Comp II to see how it was, and it seemed all right. I might get Comp IIIs because gravity feed is kind of annoying. The Speed Beez look like a good ticket, but are 2-3x the price, so I'm on the fence about them. Especially since I need so many for the courses of fire I shoot.

But they also cost about the same as HK mags, and I bought tons of those, sooooo....

IG-88 was a fuck.. but I wish they'd remake it and fix some of the problems it had, modern graphics, better controls, and an expanded story.

I also went to a gun show. I should know better, but after one vendor was unwilling to go down on their price for a CZ 97B, I found a vendor willing to haggle a bit over a used Calico Liberty I. Still probably overpaid for it though, it was a gun show after all.
>>
>>34981503
shit dude nice. how much you end up paying for it?
>>
>>34981525
~700, which, even though there aren't really any in this configuration immediately available, seems high. The threaded muzzle break not being pinned seemed different from what I'm seeing online. Most of the auctions are for guns with either no threaded muzzle or a pinned brake. This thing is roller delayed, so eventually I'd like to use the threads for a suppressor.

I'm pretty sure leupold and warne and tally all make rings for CZ pattern bolt guns. I know I'm running leupold rings on my 557 and 455.
>>
>>34982305
I bought Warne QD rings and they were $103 for the 30mm. I think 1" rings are a little cheaper.

>>
>>34975452
I did exactly this except with a Leupold 1-4x Hog Hunter (your PA one is definitely nicer). If you're only taking it out to 75m you might want to consider the New England custom gun peep sight for the 527, it mounts straight on to the proprietary dovetail and gives you a sweet aperture style iron sight. Either way it's a fucking fun little rifle.

I went backwards and collected weird shit first then common guns after), but I'm still damn eager. There's some odd childlike excitement behind the idea of making my own rifle.
