Just finished watching the pacific and was bretty gud so I am looking for a new show or movie. Any recommendations? I prefer wwi, wwii, or vietnam but anything good is fine.
Also general /k/ related movies discussion.
I watched 9th Company the other night. Is pretty good, basically Russia's Full Metal Jacket.

Hmm.
Leon: The Professional
John Wick 1 & 2
Heat
Rampage? Maybe, watched it years ago, seems like the kind of thing /k/ would enjoy
No country for old men

Deer hunter was absolute shit. Incredibly long boring scenes - like the wedding. Very little action, and the Russian roulette troupe felt very played out by the end.
So yeah definitely not on the list

"A bridge too far".
"Farewell to the king"
Battle of Britain.
"Les chevalier du ciel", if you really like flying movies. No models and little to no CGI.
"The Steel Helmet".
"Die Brucke".
" The Devil's brigade".
"Kelly's heroes" (Obligatory)
"Otoko-taichi no Yamato" if you can find a subbed version.
"Letters from Iwo Jima." and "Flags of our fathers". With "Grand Torino" as a triple feature.
Also, "Thief". with James Cann. Older movie, fucking awesome (if dated) gunplay.
"The Replacement Killers". Just fun.

I figured everyone's seen generation kill at this point.
BHD?
Sicario was overhyped, I liked it okay but not enough to recommend to someone.
