I always liked that building, ever since I was a kid, now that I'm older the colors are whatever and the architecture is so boring and bland, but I think it's an iconic piece of downtown and I hold some nostalgia for it

Of all the places I've thought of living, just staying in MN continues staying high on the list, I love our arts stuff like the MIA, I love going /out/ to the boundary waters, and despite all the hmong and somalis the twin cities is a fairly nice place.

They are still pretty shit. Almost equal. But you are a good drive from places that would allow you to hunt. Massachusetts is almost all urban and suburban sprawl and just part of the east coast metropolis.

If you really like it, you certainly can own a hunting rifle without too much issues and drive out into New Hampshire for a days hunt. You might run into issues about butchering and dressing your kill if you live in the sprawl, but a hunting weekend could be in order for some good innawoods and butchering your kill in the bush.

Shoot Straight in West Palm is pretty good. Markham park is a bit of a drive, but worth it for skeet. I'd avoid Gator Gun and Archery cause it's ran by people who give Sweaty Ben competition on being the most Jewish crate gun dealers as well as $50 for a couple of hours there. I mainly go down to Delray cause the pawn shops usually have decent prices and I know a Charter Arms dealer over there that gives me good deals on parts.

Massachusetts requires a license to own any firearm or any type of ammunition. If you're a resident it takes a safety course and 1-3 months to get. Don't think an alien can get one. CCW is legal here and that's the license most people get unless the chief of police in their town says fuck you.

The specific gun laws here are weird, too. Handguns have to be on an approved list for a dealer to touch and are basically limited to newer guns. Private sales have no such limitations. Fudd rifles and shotguns are unrestricted. Any magazines over 10 rounds must be pre-1994. Both dealer and private sales have to be reported to the state through a web form. Many out-of-state companies won't ship ammo to Mass because the attorney general is a cunt.

They changed the laws regarding anything assault-ish last year. In the past, post-1994 AWs had to be ban-compliant. As of 2016 technically any post-1994 AW is completely illegal, but the state is allowing people to keep them and sell them privately as long as they were registered prior to 2016.

Hunting in Mass in shotgun-only and you need a license. Not sure of all the details since I haven't done it yet.

The state in general is very pretty with a mix of urban centers, scenic coastlines, and deep woods. Lots of history. People in the city or educated suburbs are quite liberal, but not usually to the "die cis scum" level unless you hang out in hipster territory. Higher education and business are some of the best in the country. The city has a huge number for foreign students so a subhuman like you would fit right in. There are patches of violent niggers but they tend to stay in the shitty places you have no business in. Real estate costs and taxes are some of the highest in the country.
