All Glock needs to do is make minor adjustments/improvements to their already proven design, while others that have been doing other things, such as hammer fired designs, have to go off Glocks design and make one of their own.

They're fixing a lot of the stuff people complained about. Like better sights (and more to choose from), no more finger grooves on the grip, apparently they fixed an issue where the gun supposedly could go off when dropped(?), and did something to the magazine follower to better indicate how many rounds you have left.

I haven't seen the mag well, but apparently they did some improvement there as well.

It's a Glock. It's a good pistol, but not the single best pistol in the World. If you're getting one, I don't see why a Gen 5 would be a bad choice.

Glock has something like 60%+ of the LE market share in the United States, and all of those unmodified service pistols function without any problems.

What have I done to it?

1. Replaced the sights with Trijicon HD Night Sights.
2. Added a minus connector for a lighter trigger pull.
3. Added a magazine well plug.

They're okay upgrades for gen 5, but no reason to buy one if you already have a gen 4. If you don't have a glock then I'd say its a buy if its not much more than the gen 4
