Alright, /k/ - I'm buying a Ruger American Predator in .308 soon and I want to get a muzzle device for it. All brakes and flash hiders (and combo devices) will be considered. What should I put on the end of my raifu, anons?

Convert to a 9/16x24LH muzzle thread and stick a stoll on that bitch.
In all seriousness, you can get shortened ones so you don't have all the extraneous weight of the grenade-launching portion. But those lil four-prong flash hiders kick ass. I'm not sure how applicable it would be to a different barrel profile, but the original StG 58 flash hiders actually helped dampen the barrel harmonics of the rifle and measurably increased its accuracy. (It's kinda neat, you can identify a genuine one from a repro because it will ring like a tuning fork.)

because 308 doenst recoil for shit and it's not like you need to lower the recoil for fast follow up shots
Most muzzle brakes make a HORRENDOUS ground signature and muzzle blast

Did you read the article from which your picture is taken?
Just put a thread protector on it if you don't want to look like a goofball mall ninja.

desu, TFB or whoever did a better one and has used damn near every brake on the market
Unfortunately they only tested for recoil reduction, not muzzle rise
