If you get a cheap NV monocular, like the little hunting ones even, that can work well for this kind of thing. Keep both eyes open, one hand holding gun the other holding the monocular. Have paracord tied to the NV and hang it around your neck so if you need to drop it, it falls about mid chest high. Night sights help a lot, especially with the NV making them gud-n-bright.

It's not that light. The feel is much improved and honestly I feel the factory trigger is a completely unsafe POS. If you daily CC a shield I think the Apex is a must. Even if you do just the trigger and not the full kit.
Also, a good holster IS your safety, IMO. I only got the safety models since I couldn't pass up $199 each.
Anyways, buy a fucking Apex. It's gud bro.

This is my second and both are absolutely worth the money. I accidentally left mine at a friends' cabin a couple months back, and that was the 2nd gen. I purchased this one to hold me over until I'm able to get the original back.

I can say that I greatly prefer the Pro v3 for the extra settings and features, plus a brighter max setting, but even the v2 is still well worth it and half the cost. Either one you choose you won't be upset. Seriously, can't plug this light enough

I've had the case for about 4 months and in that time the thin plastic around the volume and power button covers have worn down to the point where it's torn, but a strong connector holds it in place so it's fine

plus the feel and look of it is similar enough to a polymer mag that I get a little /k/ autismo bit of happiness when I pull it out

In a high stress situation, one where you lack fine motor control, it is possible to pull the trigger without depressing the trigger safety. It's fucking bad design. I can only imagine the look on my victim's face when he's squeezing his shield trigger to no effect as I spit on his balloon knot.
I have p big hands (XL gloves are super tight on me) and still found this to be a problem while finger fucking the gun. The Apex doesn't have this problem and if it weren't any better I would prob still use it. I didn't know this before I bought the guns, t b h.

ive never felt under armed with a 1911, but I have felt it with some .380s and revolvers. Maybe its a size thing but the 1911 still feels like a duty gun to me.
