>general opinions on 5.56
It's fine, it's always been fine, and it will in fact continue to be fine.
>>34947710
sure,
im not on here often anymore
>>34947722
witness
5.56 delivers exceptional range and accuracy in a modular and incredibly controllable package.
Needs more battle rifle.

I'm a simple man

Is the space between the slide and frame of your steyr as wide as it appears in this photo or is it an illusion??
>>34948003
The space in that photo is accentuated because of the white background. I'll post pics in the morning for you. Will answer any questions in the meantime
>>34948058
Neat thanks
I'm considering buying one to replace my PPQ (nothing wrong it and it's staying in the family just want something different)
Do you conceal carry it? If so at what position? How many rounds fired and how many failures, if any? Have you been able to find a decent holster? How do you like the sights compared to 3 dot?
>>34947993
simple is good
Rate and hate. Replaced the one point sling with a two point sling, but otherwise up to date. Suggestions?
>>34947928
yeah nigga. thinking about getting an AR-10
>>34948139
op,
in a scenario where you are walking around all day, you would end up wanting a 2 point sling.
its better for doing anything with your hands when carrying a weapon, especially whjile walking. just my opinion
>>34948121
i love me some top folders
Loadouts for what, exactly?
>>34948139
Whats the USP holster?
>>34948220
Feds not invited
>>34948119
Absolutely love the sights. Shot about 800-900 rounds by now. Had one hard primer with gecco (?) ammo. Been firing some of the aluminum cased Federal lately without any issues. I've carried it in the past at 11 o'clock with a Custom Carry Concepts Quick cover holster (highly recommended). Now I carry a P938, followed by a G26 and a P30SK
Is 300blk still a meme round if you roll your own?
gonna need some r8s here
>>34948331
which one's you?
>>34948287
Did you shoot enough of the Geco without issue that it would be safe to blame it on cheap ammo? I'm assuming the switch to to compact/subs a seasonal decision or no?
>>34948343
Just rate them all friend.
>>34948319
On a barrel that short with a can, no.
On a 16" unsuppressed upper, yes.
FNs only
Got a bunch of shit on the way for the FAL
>>34948248
It's a BladeTech, getting a new one from the same company since I added a light.
>>34948175
Yeah I did add the two point sling like in said nin my post. I only had the one point for that picture, but yeah two points are way better.
>>34948319
Did the Sig go off when you laid it down on the ground?
>>34947670
sig. good.
>>34947710
hk. good.
>>34947842
also supporting the 4th reich with steyr purchase. good.
>>34947928
rifle = godly
>>34948139
usp is a good choice.
>>34948146
don't dig hipowers, but metal guns are way more enjoyable to shoot for some reason.
>>34948319
props for having a non-chode sized foregrip
>>34948466
kek
>>34948419
All I can say is I had been skeptical of Gecco ammo for a while, and after having zero problems with everything else (WWB, remshit, even my own reloads) I feel pretty confident saying it was the ammo.
Switching to subcompacts (I guess the P938 is a microcompact?) was definitely a matter of laziness/comfort. I still shoot the steyr all the time - I think it's one of the best (slightly smaller than) full-size handguns out there, especially in my collection. The steyr is easily concealable with a button down - I've done it in NYC where printing even a little can be very bad
my only gripe is that flush fit 15 round mags are impossible to find. the +2 baseplate doesn't add anything consequential though, and 17+1 is pretty amazing in terms of capacity.
Steyr thread?
Steyr thread.
>>34948003
This is where you insert the radiating fins for when you're shooting your space gun in space.
Because no convection and no conduction (except for your brass) is a bitch.
>>34947670
>Needing a big brake on your 5.56 rifle
Lmao how much a manlet can you possibly be
>>34950789
Its for noise redirection, not recoil.
>>34948437
>300blk suppressed is a meme
>300blk unsuppressed isn't
>>34950826
What the fuck are you on about?
300blk 16in barrel = meme
Suppressed = Not a meme
Reload = Not a meme
<10" barrel = Not a meme
Unsuppressed isn't a meme, but only if it is out of a short barrel.
>>34950789
that break redirects sound, and i also like to try and reduce recoil, even with 5.56
>all these no slings and no holsters
>>34953255
I've got you covered.
>>34948139
I already told you anon, take that stupid blade tech holster spacer out. Its retarded.
>>34953521
I've used it on several hunting/camping trips with no problem, it doesn't flop or anything like you were saying
>>34950789
That's a blast shield you fucking retard.
