Forgive me /k/ube I like having guns more than I like shooting them

I only own two long guns and plan on a third, I skipped my range day this week. Forgive me, /k/ube.

I buy thousands of dollars worth of guns to learn as many as I can and have first hand knowledge of them to help new shooters and people asking questions. U give free holsters and ammo to new shooters and friends, do reaserch for them on accessories, and find them deals. I teach everyone who stands near me for more than five minutes about the basics of firearms safety and what would be a good first gun. I have helped or motivated dozens to join the ranks of gun owners and teach them how to be safe and hate gun control as an offence to their individuality.

And my sin, is that of pride, because I think these actions make me better than the average shooter. But I'm trying to keep myself in check and not be an arrogant asshole.

if you aren't timing yourself, try that. competitions can be a bitch to get to if you're busy or don't live near any. try racing the clock for a while first. ideally get one or two friends to do drills with you and time each other.

I want to sell one of my guns because they're the most valuable things I own, mainly so I have money for new, different guns. But I can't pick one I love the least. Should I man up and let one go, or continue to cherish them all? I have 8 btw.

I have made the ill mistake of a negligent discharge. A couple months ago I had just finished cleaning my firearm which I do eto all my fire arms every month or so. I was chambering my round and although my safety was on and my finger was off the trigger, the gun still fired a 9mm hp,earring me to believe that I messed up something when cleaning. I wasn't able to check however, bevause my dad told my brother and he took both my guns to his house and locked them in the safe. I haven't seen them since. He says I can't be trusted with them. How can I redeem myself

When I got my Vz58 I tried to disassemble it before sending the striker forward. The Dust cover wouldn't disassemble so I used my cleaning rod.

I destroyed the retaining rod in the dust cover in the process.

This was a year ago.
