I was recently gifted this M1 Carbine and there are no markings that tell who made it. It doesn't look like any I have been able to find. Anyone know what it is?

More likely than not it's a "Universal", with a few USGI parts.
Manufacturer may be covered by rear sight if it's the updated version

Universals had dual recoil springs. The stock looks like a Fajen, a common upgrade. There were some imported cast receivers back in the 80's, no markings...
