I went back on another day with a friend to show them around (and to take this picture), and the trailer was sealed up with wiring, which I cut through to get in. items were moved, someone was squatting there.

i'd recommend some 10x50 binoculars with full multi coating. the difference is huge over small ones. maybe some 10x42s. the magnification doesn't really matter much i suppose but coatings and objective size make using them way nicer. i'm eyeing some 12x70 celestrons to add to my loadout.

i did a stalker esque exploration at the iron goat trail in wa state. kinda spooky place. big long train snowshed where a train got taken out by an avalanche back in like 1910 or something. killed everyone on the train i think and washed them into the icy river down the ravine. here's a crappy photo i took. sorta spooky place. the other lane was full of trees that are growing under the snowshed.
