The armor is ceramic, the APFSDS round it shoots is made of depleted uranium. Depleted uranium is not radioactive, although it does make some nasty ass dust after it hits something

Depleted uranium is barely radioactive. It's only dangerous if the armor is penetrated and you hang around the hole and breathe in a bunch of DU particles.
If you're going to say the Abrams is shit, there's a lot of criticisms for it. Any that involve its use of DU, that aren't about its weight, are dumb.

The A2 has DU layers (except the Saudi A2's)

DU is very much radioactive, just not at a level useful for nuclear weapons or power generation. Mostly decaying into alpha and beta waves it does still emit gamma rays and thus, is not good to be around.
