In fairness, she isn't supposed to be an operator and was kinda pushed into this role because with like 90% of the global population you can't be too choosing. In the show her real strong point is that she speaks like a billion languages, not that she is an exceptionally good trigger puller (for that we have Wolfman, Danny and Burke, as well as Tex before he went to shoot bad guys in heaven). Plus it gives the studio a chance to put a pretty face on the promotional material, and it is a very male-centric show, especially this season that looks like it's going to be very focused on Chandler.

Aside from that, their magpouches are empty because they had just been shooting at rare crops ransoming terrorists (yes) for like 5 minutes. I guess the plate carriers are empty (how can you tell btw?) because they have to do a stunt like 30 seconds later? Anyway, as far as I care, it's not enough to distract me from the fact I'm enjoying the show.

full disclaimer : I really like the show for its themes, interesting world setting and characters, but I will be the first to admit I know about fuck all when it comes to boats or ships and that the cgi is quite often janky.

but you know, it's like complaining that han solo doesn't use a isosceles grip on his blaster, I pay more attention to the cool space battles, lightsaber duels and nice looking planets.

Even though I like the show, it should have been a miniseries.

Much like Falling Skies: TNT knows how to make a show, but doesn't know how to end it. FS should have been a miniseries or 2-3 season show at max.

Hell yeah. I will admit to liking it throughout too but the show's atmosphere changed too much later.
