God bless the Lebanese Army in their struggle against the Daesh rats.

How is the Lebanese military doing anyway? I thought they were in a rather uncomfortable position being sandwiched with Hezbollah and all that. Also as far as I recall they had a lot of antiquated equipment.

Half-Lebanese here.
Hezbollah has an uneasy...alliance is too strong a word, congruity with the Lebanese Army. Currently both of their main concerns is the literal millions of Syrians currently flooding the country. Hezbollah is too well dug-in for ISIS to get any kind of foothold (and gets big bucks from Iran) and the Lebanese Army also has a strong established presence as well as American equipment. Lebanon is currently surprisingly stable, mostly because everyone's got a big fat fucking Syrian fish to fry.
