Hey I already owe a few firearms and was wondering what caliber rifle you guys would suggest I should consider next.
I already own a compact 9mm and little .22 for CC and plinking. I have an older .22 rifle and .410 shotgun, but I really think I want to purchase a larger caliber rifle or shotgun.
I was wondering what you guys would recommend next? A .223, .308, 12 gauge or something else all together like purchasing something like a mosin-nagant?

12ga O/U or sporting semi-auto
join a clays club near you and learn to actually use a shotgun. It's fun.
Mosins are junk. A $200 used Savage whatever will outshoot one all day long and be more practical.

What do you want? Get that.
Except a Mosin. They're expensive and the ammo is too nowadays. A modern hunting rifle is a better value.

I kind of want to shoot something with a little more recoil to be honest. I want to get a rifle like an AR-15 eventually, but I think I may purchase a 12 gauge shotgun or some kind of .308 rifle like maybe a Savage Axis or some kind of Remington rifle.

I will definitely look into a clay club, do you practicing with a .410 would make me more proficient with a large bore shotgun or are the spreads and recoil too different to be comparable?

410 is a handicap for the pros. get a proper 12 (or 20 if you're 13) O/U gun.

An AR. The waters never been better step on in
