So I bought a M48, but I can't seem to figure out how to use the stripper clips. Whenever I push them into the magazine, the last round gets jammed very hard in the magazine and the rest will just fall out if I turn it upside down. Typically I have to unscrew the entire trigger assembly just to pry the fucker out
Wat do, k
>>34932006
Load them in individually
>>34932006
try flipping the clips around from the way you're using them, and don't try to be cool and close the bolt with the clip still in
>>34932006
Are you using the right stripper clips? Is the magazine spring on right?
You don't have to pull out the whole trigger assembly, you can just push the recessed button and it will release the magazine.
It would also help to remove the bubba scope, so I don't have to use eye bleach.
>>34932111
They jam in there so god damn tight that the only way I can get anything out is by unscrewing everything.
I cant see how else I could assemble the magazine
This is the one ive been using that came with it
Take a picture of how you position the stripper clip when attempting to load the rifle.

>>34932202
lmao you're not putting the clip in right dumby look at the slot cut into the receiver
>>34932202
You're not feeding it in the right place, the cutout behind it is for the clip
>>34932222
Same issue
Also nice quads
>>34932235
Thanks, and you must not be doing it strong enough. Place it in there and put your thumb on the brass as close as you can to the clip and your 4 fingers around the rifle. Squeeze down not like a pussy and they should all slide off the clip into the rifle

>>34932268
Interesting, does it load just fine doing the rounds manually?
>>34932292
Yes, sans clip works just fine. Is there supposed to be free space between the follower and the rest of the receiver? There's like a quarter inch
>>34932006
>fucking scope mount on a beautiful Mauser
>can't even feed the fucking thing
Seriously, you fucking morons should just buy hunting rifles if that's what you want; Yugos aren't scout rifles, and neither is any other milsurp.
>>34932427
I bought it off armslist. Its a NDT mount, but fuckwad lost the recoil lug so on it stays till I find another
You need a replacement magazine spring; the current one doesn't have enough force to keep the follower lever as the rounds are going into the mag.
>>34932427
Wow that's an ignorant thing to say, considering the scout rifle concept was spawned thanks to sporterized milsurp post-war.
>>34932006
your magazine spring is in upside down or backwards. thats the problem
>>34932748
This is actually what I was thinking it seemed a little warped
>>34932801
This is the only way it fits famalam, that was my first theory
>>34932427
>t. Wehraboo AND weeaboo
Who would have thunk it
>>34932823
no, just take apart the magazine, flip the spring upside down from what it is now, put it back together. problem solved.
>>34932833
the spring is not symetrical. it has to be installed right side up. yours is installed right side down. listen to me. it looks symmetrical but it is not
>>34932860
Nigger it literally won't fit into the thing that way, that was my first idea
>>34932868
it fits both ways.
but only works 1 way
>>34932906
I literally tried to force it and it didn't work
>>34932840
>Wehraboo
>Yugo Mauser
You're a special kind of stupid buddy, I'm just a milsurp fag.
>>34932006
>>34932143
>>34932202
>>34932235
>>34932308
That does not look to be the right stripper clip. It appears to be a sweede/jap/1903 stripper clip and those are slightly larger. You need a 98 clip which are slightly smaller.
>>34932906
>it fits both ways.
It only fits into the underside of the follower one way. Lrn2M98.
>>34932906
Does the skinnier side of the spring go into the bottom or into the follower
>>34933019
>Does the skinnier side of the spring go into the bottom or into the follower
Into the follower.
>>34933131
Which is exactly where I have it
>>34933273
Oh I believe you. I suggested trying a replacement mag spring.
>>34933357
Those actually seem reasonably priced so ill order one come payday. In the meantime, any other ideas?
>>34933550
Just don't use clips until it arrives. Manual loading is hardly the end of the world.
>>34933844
I probably wouldn't even be able to get to the range till it comes in either way
>>34933844
I'm going to guess that you're probably right based on this. Any ideas for where it could be found for cheaper?
>>34934300
>Any ideas for where it could be found for cheaper?
Numrich, Springfield Sporters, eBay. An M98 magazine spring should cost you less than $10.
>>34934362
That's what I figured what since I doubt it costs more than a dollar to produce
>>349343006
It appears marcus lives in my town. Fucking faggot.
