Nah, if corruption in the US was even remotely close to that of Russia you'd know about it. Corruption has effects that can be measured and quantified.

Lets take healthcare as an example. There's a measurable and given budget going into healthcare. There's a service provided by that budget. There's also a set of guidelines and rules thar should be followed.

In Russia, healthcare is supposed to be free but isn't, you'll often be asked to pay 'fees' otherwise you will be refused treatment, and the quality provided does not match the price of the system. In the US this is not the case.

You can bitch and moan about 'muh merilards' or 'teh joos', but until you've experienced Russian corruption as well as life in a decent country, you'll never even grasp the scale of Russian corruption.
