I really love my AR-7, but I want to get a sturdier, all-steel barrel for it that will still fit inside the stock. There's an outfit called AR-7.com that apparently makes them, but there's not much information about them out there and the little I've found is mixed in opinions. you have an ass ton of lead build up.
.22lr's are extra dirty. you rifling will come back with some scrubbing. I had to use a bore brush attached to a drill to get back to the rifling on my gun.
