What the heck, I just found out about this and now my M14 boner demands I get one. What's your opinion on them?
Springfield sold the fuck out, get a James River or Fulton Armory.

How do those prices compare?

>$1,899 for one
>from three different stores
>.308 kinda pricy too
it feels nice... even after NYS law mauled it, but thats a fuck ton of money for one and pretty expensive to fire in long run.
I kinda favor the mini14, has its likeness, compact, cheaper ammo.
If I had a lot of money to blow, I guess I could see myself owning one though.

Overpriced.

They are fine, just do your research before purchasing. Its an expensive gun to upgrade and equally expensive to build.
If you really want to get one, buy a stripped receiver, I recommend a m25 version with the integrated scope mount, and send it in to one of the reputable m14 gunsmiths such as warbirds or jon wolfe, and have them build it from scratch with parts you supply to them.
If youre just gonna keep it classic get a standard version, but like I said, upgrading one costs as much as building one.

>just bought one unfired for 1250
thank you based used market

gunbroker is the place to get them. you can usually get a standard m1a for 1300.

If you just found out about this what are you like 13?

my thoughts too. i mean, maybe they were no guns and now has an interest in them.

For a Fulton Armory M14, you're looking at about double the price of an M1A.

Or found out how badly they trigger AR fanbois and now must have one.

Yeah, and a glock or hk is more than double the price of a hi-point.

What about LRB? Forum posters seem to like them a lot, but I stumbled on their website by chance.

They're much better and more importantly you aren't giving money to (((Springcuck Armory)))
