First raifu. Did I go gud /k/omrades?
Will be used for plinking on the range using cheap (read: free) amunition, and used for innawoods moose-hunting inna northern Sweden.
A Mossberg MVP Varmint .308, Stalon Whisper, and Vortex Strike Eagle optics. Probably getting another 10rd mag for funsies when I have some funds to spare.
I'm a wee bit drunk, so I have no further direction for this thread except seeking your approval I guess?
Posting the oh so sexy T-28 for approval.
>dat ass
Also, testing to see if they still censor desu.
Yup, still censoring it. Try typing the abreviation of "to be honest". I dare you.
Haven't been to the chan in years now. I was first around in 2007, and hung around for some time. Grew from it, and haven't been here in a while.
>a render is fine too
Ät mer antabus.

Nah, en G&T är bra för hälsan.
Lite casual alkoholism har ingen dött av.
>>34911066
that looks really nice
>>34911346
The bolt is sexy af imo.
Imma post an old picture from work then.
Good times.

>cross country skiing with a rucksack
fuck your life dude
>>34911401
You haven't been cross country skiing until you've carried a 45kg rucksack whilst dragging a sled with a wounded soldier in it, all the while wielding a M240 on your chest.
Some of the funniest times in my life have been on those god-forsaken skis. I have laughed to the point of having to sit down due to watching friends trying to ski down steep slopes with those goddamn wooden boards.
>>34911066
Not a fan of Mossbergs and have no idea how that scope will perform. If the scope ends up sucking, you might try the Primary Arms one mentioned in this video.

i couldn't really see the bolt i just liked the wood :s
im a gun baby
>>34911471
Mentioned the Primary Arms one because it's around the same price range as your Vortex Strike Eagle.
>>34911460
>tfw my country can't afford skis for troops so it's mucklucks and snowshoes (sometimes)
>carrying a 45kg ruck through a snow storm, dragging a sled with tent group
>sinking constantly at random as you walk through 3 feet of snow because i'm 250 lbs
>25 pound lmg makes it even worse
>constantly layering up and down because you fucking sweat like a pig in heat
I don't miss the army
>>34911401
It's way more comfy than rucking on foot.
T. Minnesota
>>34911066
Nice!
My Mauser is going to get a SK mount to replace the rear sight and a LER 2-7x. Then it'll be my Wapiti chaser.
>>34911471
Fair enough. I wanted 1x6 for the scope mostly due to force of habit. Having used an RDS for a few years I'm much more comfortable with a lower magnification, and not going to take any potshots on moose on distances exceeding 150-200m.
>>34911496
Oh, but I do. I miss the misery deeply. I wouldn't trade my current job for it, but I do miss it.
>I'm far left, newly employed. Good times were had.
>>34911515
Forgot to add, my can is a PSD Megalith.
>>34911066
Jag kan inte så mycket om Mossberg, köpte du nytt? Om inte, vad fick dig att välja Mossberg istället för t.ex Tikka T3x Varmint? Hur skjuter den?
>>34911532
Understandable. 1-6 is what I like on bipod mounted ARs
>>34911547
>>34911066
What kind of groupings are you getting with the mossberg?
>>34911651
No magnification, prone position with support, 200m.
Could probably do a lot better with some magnification.
>>34911610
Mjo, nervöst med första köpet, men knappast missnöjd hitills.
Imma go bumping with the best picture I know. Taken during a First-Responder drill.
>>34911750
Is that grouping like 15 cm across? You were shooting pretty fast for a bolt gun and aimed fire, definitely good enough for combat, lol.
>>34911940
A few years of practice behind it.
I would've probably got something with a bit more "oompf" behind it for moose, but I'm happy for you, swede.
Hows the scope? The lenses decent?
>>34912070
Used my fathers 30-06 before with excellent results. .308 should do decently as well I reckon.
>pic related, last year's harvest.
>>34912089
Loving it. Only been plinking with it on the range, but it's just what I like thus far.
>>34912111
Looking to put together a bush gun, not a fan of bush whacking with my 7mm08 long range baby. Thinking maybe 7.62x38
>>34912111
Dressed weight?
>>34912161
T'was a small one. A 1-year old.
Can't for the life of me remember the weight of it.
