Need:

Fishing line
Rat traps
Nail
Shotgun shell
Basic wire
Wood dowel

Affix nail to rat trap. String fishing line across doorway. Affix shotgun shell to dowel. Goal is to have rat trap go off and set off shotshell once line is tripped.

Put at ankle height and enjoy.
Note: Smaller shot is more effective for this
