Honest question from a flashlight illiterate : what do you guys use those insanely bright flashlights for? Hunting by night? Spotting things over long distanceson a large property? Blinding an attacker? Getting a quick tan?
It seems to me they wouldn't be that useful indoors, or even detrimental since you could blind yourself with the reverberation

Fudd. Surefire if falling way behind.

Check out the reviews on YT. It's ridiculously powerful. This guy tested 23,450 lumens; believably close enough to 25,000 imo.

I'll post pics of what mine does if this thread is still up tonight.

Pretty much all of those except tanning... yet ;^). Plus they are just neat to show off. My XT11GT is my favorite for edc because it can go directly into strobe or turbo with one push off a button (great for tactical shit). It also has different brightness levels for normal applications.

1,000 lumens will temporarily blind someone nice and good. What they get will be far more than what comes back at you, unless you shine it at a wall right in front of your own face. More lumens are necessary to temporarily blind people in more brightly lit areas like a parking lots or at dusk.
