Is .270 Winchester armor piercing out of the box?

Through a 22" barrel .22 LR has the chance to punch through car doors, let alone .270. Cheap sheet steel/aluminum doesn't offer much in the way of ballistic protection.

270 is made as a fudd round so there are no fmj bullets, unless you count matchkings.
