So /k/, I want your opinion on the Luger p08
>>34902175
It's worth surrendering at a gun buyback for $50.
fun to look at and take apart. pretty uncomfortable to shoot, only really good for collecting.
>>34902175
German empire aint free. Imperial glorys gotta be littered with the blood of belgians Adolf "austrian" Hitler is not my leader, he is a corporal and probably british as well. Monarchy and Von Makensen not facism and goering okay. Praise Kaiser Wilhelm II
>>34902201
>pretty uncomfortable to shoot
what do you mean by this?
>>34902221
grip is uncomfortable (at least for me), its pretty rear heavy and you have a giant toggle upwards on top of that. also the sights are garbage, but i guess they all were back then.
>>34902201
>Uncomfortable to shoot
>one of the most ergonomically pistols of its time
>way ahead of its time
you don't know shit
>>34902175
I want one in .45 acp so bad
>>34902613
Good luck getting a million bucks and actually finding it for auction. Wonder how much it would cost to get one built.
>>34902699
We need more replica companies so I can get my .45 acp Luger and a merwin hulbert revolver.
>>34902751
WA2000 reproduction when!?
>>34902175
It's a nazi gun and they all should have been melted down. Only fat racist virgins own them anyway.
>>34902175
I love mine. 7.65 Para is such a comfy cartridge to shoot I'm kind of sad 9mm more popular
Hi.
Part geometries are fucking lunacy. I'm surprised it took them so long to replace the damn thing.
>>34902757
Exactly I'd be willing to pay $3-5k for my favorite guns
>>34902757
>>34902787
I honestly lost a lot of respect for the rifle once I saw how it was put together.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_av1zBdnxXY
>>34902795
This.
>>34902175
A good pistol for a 1908 peacetime army, a terrible choice for a service sidearm in the First World War. It's far too expensive to produce.
Honestly, the only countries to get WWI handguns right were the US and especially France. Laugh all you will at .32 ACP, it's decent enough and the Ruby could be made on the cheap in the millions.
>>34902795
Some guns I own to use. Some guns I own just to own. I would still buy it just look at it and shoot it once or twice a year.
>>34902795
I'd take a mil surp M1a with a new custom barrel and put a nice scope on it over getting a WA2000 but getting something like a Remington Model 8 would be bitchin' or getting a Mars Automatic would be the tits.
>>34902827
Or a Mauser C96 Broomhandle but have it offered in 9mm, 7.63x21, or a modern update with 5.7mm
>>34902845
K31 in 45-70. Dream gun right there.
>>34902859
That would be awesome and effective when the apes try to take over.
>>34902827
Get one if you can, even the Model 81. It's heavy but lovely as hell
>>34902922
Oh I'd love to get one and put a full barrel length forearm with a modification that will allow a M1903 Bayonet to be installed and tanner sights
>>34902761
>Nazi gun
>it was used mostly in WW1
You're a retard
>>34902845
I wish to get old cap and ball replicas that are instead built with modern steel so you can use smokeless and have a flint striker system so you forgo the pain in the ass cap primers
>>34902175
Its cool desu senpai
>>34903064
Tango Bravo Hotshot
Would love to own one simply because it's mechanism is interesting
Commie trash
>>34902761
>Only rich fat racist virgins own them anyway.
Originals I have seen start about $6000
>>34902175
Cool to watch it work.
>>34902986
>flint striker system
Literally what? How would this work? I'm suspecting that you're a fucking retard unless you can provide an answer
>>34902964
>can't detect obvious sarcasm
No anon, you are the retard
>>34903477
Is there a modern pistol with this kind of action? Looks neat.
>>34902186
Don't even joke about that, I once saw one at a gun destruction centre in Argentina, some retarded old widow must have turned it in without knowing its value.
>>34902986
>>34903922
Flint striker system, look up what a wheel lock is.
Developed between matchlock and traditional flintlock systems but was rarely used.
>>34902206
Underrated
>>34902175
Very fun to shoot
Recoil isnt an issue
Triggers arent so bad
Sights are okay
History and mechanical aspects are super neat
>>34902175
dat one dem nayzee guns
Be honest, would you be physically uncomfortable owning or even holding an SS-Totenkopfverbände officer issued Luger, knowing full well that it's likely to have been used in summary executions in Nazi concentration/death camps?
Or does that sort of macabre history make your dick move?
>>34904170
Nice piece of history
I'm black and I'd even be ok with owning a slave whip
>>34904170
I'm half-pollack half black, and I would huff the lubricant out of the open action and hold it in like a bong hit.
>>34904170
I feel nothing, positive or negative about lugers.
>>34904170
Not because they're jews, but certanly, historical artifacts of macabre or tragical nature really caught's my attention
Like this 9/11 revolver
P.S: Is that sentence well formulated?, I'm not a native English speaker
>>34904213
Say "No, because they're jews." instead of "Not because they're jews."
Use "tragic" instead of "tragical". And say "catch" instead of "caught's".
>>34903265
You can get a nice one for under 2k and one that's a little beat (as in typical milsurp quality) for under 1k. There's something about lugers that makes their owners want to baby them.
>>34904212
Get off my website, normalslime.
>>34904170
Why not? I wouldn't use it to kill anyone but id probably execute a few coyotes and squirrels with it.
Would love to have one
>>34904021
>old widow
>Luger
>Argentina
Hmm...
>>34904289
>execute a few coyotes and squirrels
>with a rare historical artifact
>>34904303
Lugers were quite popular during the 1920's same as British guns (that you could buy without taxes)
>>34904335
>Shinzo Abe frequently executes dogs in his backyard using Nobunaga's katana
>>34904335
Whats wrong with enjoying and firing an older milsurp pistol?
If you had guns you'd understand that using them is half the fun.
If you're like me and you have a lot of guns, the luger offers something just from being so different to the rest of the shit out there.
I've had two, the first would slamfire if pointed down when I dropped the toggle, the second is totally reliable in all respects w/ a variety of factory ammo.
It points weird of course, because of the grip angle.
The magazine release is the least satisfying mag release ever. Goes in a couple millimeters, no click.
Mags are hard to stuff in there because of the grip angle.
>>34904380
Sauce? That is equally awesome and infuriating.
>>34904415
>the first would slamfire if pointed down when I dropped the toggle
>>34904415
>black hand
Fuck off nigger
>>34904430
Holy shit are you actually retarded?
>>34902986
>built with modern steel
You mean like all the steel replicas that have been made for decades
>>34904098
Oh I'm sure he knows what it is, but that does make it less retarded. It's one step forward, two steps back
>>34904415
>wearing edgy gloves for a photo
kys
>>34902201
Have you ever even held a Luger? "pretty uncomfortable to shoot" lol, wat?
>>34904457
>>34904430
>>34904380
>Shinzo Abe frequently executes dogs in his backyard using Nobunaga's katana
I don't get the joke because I'm not a weeb. Someone spoonfeed me, here
>>34904213
>I'm not a native English speaker
GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY COUNTRY YOU GODDAMN IMMIGRANT
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>>34905671
ya thats mine. wheres yours?
>>34904208
Is this you?
>>34905671
Feels pretty comfy to me.
>>34902175
The trigger is realy horrible and the after market parts are hard to get.
Aside that, I love mine!
>>34904197
>>34904208
Hitler was not racist. Holocaust did not happen.
>>34904170
I would CC that on Mondays
>>34904415
Great picture anon. I would be stoked to own that.
>>34902814
So you mean just murica then? The .32 ruby used in ww1 by the French was heavily based off the colt 1903.
>>34906267
One more to drive it home.
>>34904380
Your blade, will cut.
>>34902175
I love mine.
>>34902761
The Nazis invented camo and stealth tech. Should we get rid of those as well? Oh wait, that's right, you don't know because antifa's never been in a real fight.
>>34904170
It makes my dick move
>>34902206
>>34902175
they wear out
good wall hanger though, i'd love one of those long barrel artillery ones
