After a range sesh I like to stuff a couples of those French fries down the barrel and let the oil of the fries soak into the carbon deposits. Then, using the abrasive salt, I move them up and down the gunhole until the dirt is nicely worked out. It's not a striker. You can put your thumb over the hammer and feel if anything is pushing on the trigger. It will push the hammer into your thumb and you'll be able to stop from pushing in the holster. I never really got over holstering with a Glock because I couldn't thumb the hammer like on a CZ or HK. It's nice.

Use a P2000 as my CC piece, it's pretty comfy IWB at ~3:30-4. No LEM on it, but I've played with those in the store and they're really nice.

When you're dry firing LEM, work the slide every time to simulate actual firing. It'll give you a long, smooth, light initial trigger pull, and a short reset. If you can't enjoy that I don't know what you can.

(The trigger still works if it doesn't cycle, it's just heavier and gritty.)
