Looking for grip recommendations. Finger nub would be great. FDE would be great. Vertical angle would be great.

PA MD ADS? If so don't bother upgrading to any of the Holosuns IMO, they will be basically the same. Nice thing about the PA red dots and the Holosuns is that you can buy a gucci T1/T2 mount and use it later once you get a T1 or T2.

I'm thinking about doing a pistol for my next AR, but I don't know. I'm worried that a 7" can on a 14.5" barrel is going to be too long.

I had SPARC II once. Returned that fucker pretty damn quick. $30 more than a PA MD ADS, bigger footprint, heavier, occluded FOV by electronics in the tube, and the worst thing? Terrible brightness adjustments. Too few adjustments and the adjustments that were there did exactly what you described. Nothing, nothing, then boom big ole burst of grapes.

Get a PA MD ADS or better an Holosun HS503G if you want a poorfag optic. 12 brightness settings with 2 night vision ones, and a fantastic spectrum you can utilize to minimize the effects of your astigmatism.

Two things. PoU for this build is supposed to be my go to rifle. This means being able to cross state lines, take it hunting, take it to defend a statue of Thomas Jefferson, get decent range out of it, but not have it be too long. Middle of the road carbine, so 14" makes sense in terms of that.

Plus I just had a 10.5" pistol last year and I would feel dumb as fuck buying the whole Shockwave Blade setup after buying it and selling so recently.

I do miss that pistol though.
