Hi /k/
I was wondering if any of you had any interesting stories, trivia or info about the classic 'Elephant Gun'. I'm currently writing a bit of fiction which includes a ships captain, fighting a Goliath crab armed with an elephant gun and was hoping if any of you could help illustrate what kind of weapon it was to use and handle.

Elephant guns are usually more like this, at least for the past two centuries or so. Double barrel .50-.70 caliber rifle. Before that it would just be a fuck huge musket.
