Alright /k/ I need your help
I just got this Jap parade saber for dirt cheap, but the handle is really loose. I need to disassemble it but I have no idea how. If any of you lads have a clue I'd appreciate the help

there were several ways of handle attachment, some used rivets, other just glue, some screwed the whole thing at the pummel
you should carefully determine how it wast attached as to not damage it

Is that thing in the middle just the tang peened out or something? Couls you juat hammer it some more to tighten it up?

It's between a screw and a rivet, though it doesn't feel like twisting it is Mali g it any tighter/looser

I feel like its someting more, given that the guard and the handle can be moved independently
