This movie is fucking intense. And that scene during the ending with the main character reminiscing about his childhood was heart wrenching.

There's an amazing set of videos from the Seattle Police in 2015 where they chase a Camaro through the city. It's fucking amazing.

Here's one that shows a progression of police action starting during the normal patrol before the report of a stolen car is reported, then receiving the call, lurking for the car, and ensuing chase.

Yeah, I don't know either. Dune just isn't the kind of thing you can skip over the details on. What makes Dune so good is the world, the actual story is pretty basic (guy gets betrayed and wants revenge). They might go full Tarantino and just not give a fuck, make the movie three hours long. I wouldn't mind that, although I'm not sure Villeneuve has the level of authority required to get a studio to support a gamble like that. I don't know if they've even announced the budget yet. I'll probably judge my optimism upon how well Blade Runner is received, if it's up to the quality of his other movies then we might have something to look forward to.
