stop buying ammo you arent going to immediately shoot. we are bruising the manufacturers and retailers big time, and prices are still falling. we got em on the run boys
>>
>>34876190
I'm confused by your post. Wouldn't prices dropping mean that product isn't selling? Why would the price dropping be a bad thing for the industry? It keeps you in the market, it ensures you will return to fork over more money the next time they have more stock.
>>
>>34876240
by not buying we force them to drop prices to get sales. every single retailer is competing against each other right now with ridiculous deals because the demand for gun shit has fallen now that we president now
>>
The economy is about to crash hard. Having ammo handy wouldn't be a bad thing.
>>
i still have 4000 plus rounds of Sellier and Bellot unjacketed 38 grain.

I need to take my CZ452 to the range and blow some of it. before I buy some good jacketed ammo.

No. I have a little over 2K rounds of 9mm, 1500 of .45 and working on .223
>>
>>34876344
>cheap ammo
>cheap guns

I don't understand how this is in any way bad unless you're invested in gun manufacturing or retailing.

lol thats going to take forever out of a bolt gun, unless you can shoot literally out of your backyard and have the spare time to burn through ammo thats like 5 years worth of ammo
>>
>>34876409
its great, im just saying to keep the prices falling, stop buying temprorarily
>>
>>34876365
Why is it gonna crash?
>>

What kind of shitposting is this?
>>
Where are you seeing 4CPR?
>>
With cci's new plant coming on line i hope for the good old prices and availablity. I miss buying cci standard by the case ( 10 bricks)
>>

You are saying two different things at once. Learn to speak properly.
>>
>>34876786
Pick a reason. Guys like the one you're responding to say it's going to crash until it happens. He's been saying it since 2009 and is closer to being right than he was back then.
>>
>>34876365

No

Almost certainly
>>
>>34876344
Nobody has every stopped buying .22lr you retard
>>
>>34876958
This.
Prices are dropping because manufacturers have picked up production due to the increased demand. The big price hikes were due to demand far outpacing supply. Equilibrium is returning.
>>
>>34876818
https://www.wikiarms.com/group/22LR

plus certain retailers with a >4cpr cost can be brought down to <4cpr with coupons and such
(example: cabelas)
>>
>>34877397
>>34876958
prices are falling because demand is falling. people arent hoarding for resale, and there is no panic to stockpile, and supply is still high from when demand was artificially inflated.

so cut down demand sharply, stop buying all ammo for a month and watch the retailers tear at each other to provide the best deals

>not knowing .22lr used to be 4 cents per round for years until the media started all the gun scares
How young are you?

I still have a brick of American Eagle .22lr that runs like shit in all my guns with the $17.99 sticker on it from before the scare.

Yeah, I'm more accustomed to paying more like 2-3c/r throughout my childhood. We'd pick up lots of 550 packs of remington golden bullets for around 9-11 bucks IIRC.
In a pinch, the most I've ever paid is 6c/r, but I've mostly just ignored my 22lr guns for the last 5 or 6 years. It's just not much fun to plink with anyway when I've built up a collection centerfires using steel case ammo costing ~20-40c/r. I get more fun from one of those calibers than all the 22lr I could have put downrange for the same money.
>>
>>34876865
They've been doing anything they could to delay it. Have you looked at the debt clock lately?
http://www.usdebtclock.org/
$165,851 per taxpayer in debt with a tax revenue of $27,478 per taxpayer. Deficit spending at $679,249,800,000 and rising rapidly.

Illinois is on the verge of bankruptcy, industries are slowing down, automation like we've never seen is about to kick off (The jobs that revolve around driving alone are going to put the US past Great Depression levels of unemployment), there's a student loan bubble, housing bubble, car loan bubble... All it takes is for one thing to pop for the entire thing comes crumbling down. The only way out of paying loans is going to be war with said nations. Fighting the Chinese isn't going to be fun.

I'm still paying 6 eurocents per round for CCI Standard. :(
But on the other hand, we didn't have big supply issues. I never ran dry.

>stop buying ammo you arent going to immediately shoot.

That's fucking retarded. Buy in bulk to bring down the price.
>>
>>34878182
They still offer excellent deals online, outdoorlimited.com offers awesome 22lr prices.

We are due for another recession, probably gonna be set off by the student loan bubble bursting. But thats hardly full on economic collapse, it will just be yet another recession.

I predict things are gonna keep on grinding on downward as they have been for years now with a recession or two every decade. Upward class mobility will continue to slowly decline, the middle class will continue to slowly disappear, things will just gradually get shittier and shittier. Our once great nation slowly dieing.

I'm sure we will continue to always be involved in a war or two but I don't see full scale war with any real powerful nation, at most maybe a proxy war like Vietnam or another Korean war. I will grant you that that could get ugly..

I predict more domestic problems at home, probably looking like "the troubles" in N Ireland in the 1970's. But instead of the IRA, it will be some violent BLM offshoots, white militias and maybe some La Raza type groups in the SouthWest.

I guess what I am saying is that I think things are gonna just continue to slowly get worse over the coming decades but I don't think theres gonna be any "Black Friday" style collapse. Instead its gonna be just one long semi-controlled collapse that takes decades.
