I want a 20 round straight mag for range shooting. One of my supervisors wants a couple for prone sections of 3-Gun matches. Are the Brownells 20 rounders good to go?

Understood but the Brownells are on sale and for some reason the 20 round PMags are pricier than the 30s.

No reason you can't, but for some stages he shoots on (under vehicles, etc) and some of the ranges I frequent the setup is not friendly to 30 rounders.

I don't really know. The Gen 2's were straight but they converted over to the curve with the Gen 3s.
