Anyone have any experience with them on bolt-action rifles? I'm looking to pick up a 3-9x40 with one of the red reticles for general fuddery. Is it worth it, or should I save a few bucks and get a nice-ish Leupold or Nikon?

Bdc is useless without the calculator. But i have the app on my phone so it's actually convenient as fuck.
