Even the shittiest AR15s are better than Mini 14s.

Yeah but getting a mini 14 is easy in california, getting an ar isn't
See above comment. It's just as cheap and easy. I am

Oh, right, almost forgot AR autists sperg out as soon as any alternative to their Raipur was brought up.

overpay horribly on stripped reciver something like 150-200 otd for a 50 anderson
dont bother trying to ffl transfer it just walk into a gunstore and buy whats in stock your not going to mitigate cost buying off the net if all your local ffls charge 100 for a transfer.
buy everything else off psa (350-500)

Not if you shop around. I got one for $70 from City Arms in Pacifica. Not the greatest deal in the world, but hardly the worst, either.
>>34867313
70 out the door? or 70+ taxes dros and other shit?
>>34867434
It was a couple bucks over $100 with everything - still way short of the $150-200 the previous poster said.
go to brownells or primary arms
and id say just do an 80%. once you have the tools no reason not to use them
>>34867468
these no point in doing an 80 in ca now
laws changed you have to register and serialize your "ghost gun" no matter what even if its featurless. might as well pay 100 for a nicely finished factory part compared to buying all the tools and paying to getting it engraved later if you want it to be legal.
>>34865105
There is literally no point in getting a neutered AR15
>>34867496
You don't have to register it, just needs to be serialized before the end of the year.
>>34871358
What do you mean "get it serialized". You mean just scratch a random pattern of numbers you like into the aluminum (unlikely) or be forced to inscribe a number of the State's choosing (which is functionally no different from registration)?
>>34865105
If you're in socal turners has Anderson lowers for 50 bucks right now.
Buy a strike industries warhog comp for 20 bucks
Get a psa kit then just get a thordsen stock or whatever featureless shit you want.

The fuck? I live in California and every gun store has California-Compliant AR-15s at much cheaper prices than a Mini-14.
