I've decided my next weapon purchase will be an ak47. I would like the configuration to be with a side folding full stock, fore end rail, and wooden dong foregrip. What should I look for? Would a build kit be a good idea, then get the parts I want, or does it not work like ar15 land?

No, building an ak properly requires several hundred dollars of tooling and equipment. And experience most importantly.
