Looking to get a WWI-era 1911, or at least one modeled the same. Anyone know where I might find one?
Try going back in time to WW1? IDK
Or, you know, a gun store.

Auctions or private sellers, expect to pay major $$$$$. American surplus is not cheap like foreign surplus.

Cimarron and Auto Ordnance are the closest you'll get without shelling out big bucks for an original.

How much money do you have?

Other than the obvious (Gunbroker, Armsllst, etc.), do a Google search for
list of C&R dealers
These will be dealers that carry significant numbers of older firearms (those on the BATF C&R list or are greater than 50 years old).
(The C&R guns are not, however, limited to military weapons but there will be a ton of military firearms available).
