EDC Thread: almost 24 hours without an EDC thread edition
The fuck is wrong with you fags. Eternal EDC thread demands sacrifices for this transgression immediately. May the /k/ube have mercy on your souls.
Now back on topic, I'll probably add a sub2000 to my daily carry in the next week or so. The college town I work in has been getting groomed for political happenings for a while now and 7 rounds isn't gunna break the shield wall.
>>34859133
why are you sportin an aussie army hat mate?
>>34859142
He's a digger triggerer
>>34859142
Bought it for $50 at a flea market. It's comfy and keeps the sun out of my eyes.
>>34859195
>It's comfy and keeps the sun out of my eyes.
Who the heck would use a hat to do that?
>>34859225
The same fag that wears a slouch with a shitty bash in public and makes aussies buttmad on the internet.
Fingers crossed I'll get my CCW.
Also I've got a new wallet now.
>>34859133
Haven't seen one of these threads in a long while!
>>34859295
Ive been having a hell of a time finding the cz 75 D. Local gun shop laughed at me when I went in there asking about it.
>>34859869
>That rollmark
Dammit. If I knew I could put a mini compensator on it I would have bought this model.
>>34859133
> INB4 SERPA REEEEEEEE
Don't care, don't keep it cocked and rarely even keep one in the chamber.
>>34859987
Serpa isn't an issue for DA/SA handguns.
>>34859959
They're kinda common around me
>>34860012
I know that, but people still go full retard and have a bash.
>>34859133
no bully pls
>>34859977
Yeah I honestly went tactical for the roll mark, not something I usually care about either.
>>34860173
Two dildos, keys, wallet, and phone
Lame
>>34860055
Its /k/.
>>34859295
There any particular reason you'd get denied?
>>34859959
>>34860044
I was surprised when my lgs had one. It was about $50 too expensive but I shelled out for it anyway. No regrets so far
fug.
I'm coming for your tight lil pee holes.
>>34859133
>>34860173
Why do you keep your flesh light on your keychain?
>>34860951
Nice new pic, how're you liking the WC decocker?
>>34860257
Updated the holster and PCR a bit since then. New sights and mainspring
>>34861362
>Nice new pic, how're you liking the WC decocker?
Thanks, I like it a lot more than the standard wings. I had to break it in by working it what seemed like a hundred times and my thumb feeling like it went through a shredder. Imo it's a big upgrade from the standard safety/decocker. I appreciate the help on deciding, I believe It's a better choice for carry.
>>34861544
Nice, glad it worked out for you. Have you swapped out the mainspring with one from a DAO model yet? That's another big improvement for carry IMO
>>34859133
Oh! I have that CRKT, too. 1* version? The belt clip fell off of mine, too. Love that shit, though.
Whats a good, cheap flip knife with no gravity assist or anything to edc? I need one
Older pic (phone and knife replaced with newer stuff) but the guns remain the same. I rotate between the 3 depending on clothing requirements for the day.
>>34861736
>good
>cheap
Typically you trade one off for the other.
You might consider US-made Gerbers or Kershaws, but I prefer to spend a little more for a Benchmade myself.
>>34861632
I put a D spring in it when I got my grips. I polished my trigger bar and hammer, the DA pull is right at 8lbs and SA is around 4.5 lbs. smooth as butter. Here's a 15 shot group at 15yds, from the holster DA/SA shots, decock and repeat. my DA shots are my most accurate shots for some reason.
>>34861783
Nice, sweet pistol Berettabro
>>34861783
>my DA shots are my most accurate shots for some reason.
I wish I could say the same at times. My DA pulls are often low/right
>>34861783
You probably are just more focused on the DA and getting a little lax on SA. I'm guilty of the same thing
>>34861857
Thanks, you will be blessed with dime sized groups.
>>34861914
I figured that was the case, the longer pull does give me that split second to get a better sight picture before the break.
>>34861709
I don't find this humerus at all.
>>34861880
I had the same problem for a while. I found instead of thinking about the pull so much, I associate the pull with a word. I think "smooth" by the time I said "smooth" in my head the shot has went off, it totally got rid of my anticipation of the shot. It may not work for you, but it works for me.
>>34861981
Yeah, I have a bone to pick with the guy who posted this a few threads back.
>>34862144
Possible cannibal.
Look for limp or early stage kuru.

is that a flute on your keychain or what's going on with that
>>34863714
EDC threads make my nipples very hard
Can an Aussie bro help me out here, currently I Mexican carry my boomerang from a cross-draw position because my appendix spot is taken by my Glock, I'm looking for a kydex solution to safely carry my boomerang in so I don't accidently boomerang myself.
>>34864072
Yes.
>>34859987
>>34860012
Serpa is an issue if you don't want your gun stolen off of you
There is literally no reason not to get an ALS/SLS holster if you're open carrying
>>34860173
>TDI
Good taste m80
>>34863714
You just bought those shields right? Do you carry them yet and if so how do you carry them? Any spare mags to carry too? What do you usually carry?
>>34864303
You could always store it in your chocolate pocket.
I will JIMP if I read a news story about you 'ranging a "teen" during attempted robbery.
>>34862416
I have that same knife. It sucks. When are you going to buy a better one?
Anyone got a P30SK? What can you tell me about them?
Trying to decide between that and the slightly larger USPc 9mm
>>34864859
I have carried the modified one. Just pocket carry so far. I will make a holster some time soon. I have all the material I just need to get around to it.
I carry my Glocks the most. Lots of times I have my G19 at 1 o' clock and my G20 in a bag in my car or with me.
If I were going to only carry a shield I would prob carry a factory mag with magguts with a backup mag with +2 baseplate and a magguts kit to make an 8 rounder an 11 rounder.
Ayyy
>>34865156
Nice, I like my pocket guns too. I just never carry them anymore.
>>34861709
Who be stealing my pics?!?!?
>>34864988
When it breaks. Which it hasn't yet, which means it isn't that sucky of a knife now is it? I've had other gerbers shit the bed way faster like pic related. Now that is a shit knife. Mind explaining why my knife sucks?
Anyone here edc one of these?
>>34862041
I've heard some interesting DA/draw shot techniques but this one is really good
>>34860257
Is that a flowfold wallet? I got one last year and I'm liking it still
Bump
Wheeeeeeeeeeeel gats
>>34865747
looks extremely uncomfortable to sit with
>>34865747
I used to. It's honestly all you need.
But spring assist is cooler.
>>34865747
Yeah, the #8 is probably the most popular but I the slightly smaller #7. It holds a great edge and treats me well as a utility knife. I like the classic wood handle and simplicity, I don't carry a knife for self defense so I prefer it over spring assist or tacticool knives. Super cheap too so not a big deal if I lose it. I've had it for probably 3 years now and have never had the urge to buy anything else.
>>34865627
I don't know if your is one with partial serration but partial serration is fucking stupid. The knurling on the spine of the blade is tiny and gripless and therefore only cosmetic. The machining on the knife is inconsistent and sketchy at best, no clean lines anywhere. It uses the smallest torx screws I have ever seen outside of electronics repair. I can't tell if the semi-skeletonized frame is to reduce weight or provide grip but it doesn't to either; the frame is smooth so it can still slip around in your hand, it's still heavy for it's blade length. Also those fucking cut outs are sharp, I know they are supposed to dig into your hand for grip but they just end up being uncomfortable.
Theres only three good things I can say about it, which are that the factory sharp is actually pretty damn sharp. I quite like the length of the clip and how strong it is. Also the screws don't fall out. I don't know if that last one is really a plus but I've had that problem on quality knives before so I guess good job gerber?
>>34865627
I also forgot to go into a lengthy explanation of why liner locks fucking suck but I think you could figure that out for yourself.
Missing phone, Droid Turbo 2
>>34865914
Yep, they're pretty great. Hate thicc wallets
>>34868051
Mine is the one without serrations. So do you still use your Gerber knife? If so what do you mostly use your carry knife for? If not that one which knife do you currently carry or which one is your edc in these threads?
bumpan, post dem blogs- I mean.. EDCs boys!
Going to be replacing the Leltec soon, but it works fine for summer carry. I lost another one of those fucking flashlights, though.
>>34871880
Nice toilet rug.
I too like to post & poop
>>34871880
Kinda regret selling mine. It's GOAT for CCing in unfriendly territory (eg NYC)...completely disappears and cheap enough I could easily replace if I had to ditch it
>>34871967
Wow do you really think you need all that stuff?
Next Serial killer over here...baka
>>34871967
Agreed, poop brother. Comfy posting while shitting.
What's up with those metal rod keychains? Sounding rod?
>>34859987
>carries a pair of handcuffs
>doesn't keep one in the chamber
Why?
>>34872395
Next? Please.
>>34873139
Ya sounding rods for muh Benis.
Also a flute for my musically locked door to my rapement. It's the old Nokia ring tone. Only works from the outside so I'm not worried about letting the secret out.
>>34872230
I only like the hooks in bathrooms that look like a drunk octopus who wants to fight. The screw heads better look like X's and not +'s cuz that's just another thing that triggers me.
>>34873139
They're Kubotans, you hold it in your hand for hand to hand combat. I was wondering this for a while when I kept seeing so many on EDC threads and finally figured it out recently.
>>34874064
Kubaton is not a... oh wait.
>>34869359
You made less of a mistake than I did when buying that knife. Then again I got it on sale for $5. I don't use it. I have relegated it to the box where I put things I don't want other people to fuck around with when they come over and I don't fuck around with on a daily basis. Like passports and anal beads. The knife I usually wear is a benchmade 940, the green one with the cute pink stripe on the spine. No serrations obviously. I don't really post edc in edc threads simply because I don't really have edc. I carry or wear whatever is appropriate for the situation and weather. The shit that is in my pockets is situational.
>Nice neighborhood = I can wear my nicer watches and only carry a knife for utility.
>Bad neighborhood = No watch, bigger knife, maybe gun
>Good weather = Sunglasses, bandanna
>Bad weather = Umbrella
This all sounds stupid but my point is that half the shit in these pictures is completely pointless most of the time and just taking a second to look at the weather report and think of what places you are going to can inform on what you should be jamming in your pockets out of your giant pile of flashlights/knives/lighters/handguns/sunglasses/and other accessories. Posting EDC might as well be on /fa/ for all that it actually means.
>>34874064
Ah I see.... Couldn't you just use your pocket knife? It seems kind of bulky in the pocket, especially if you aren't wearing a jacket.
>>34865747
I have one and love it, but I find it a little to awkward to EDC. My pockets have keys, chapstick, lighter (right) and phone (left) so I don't really have room.
Instead, I have a Kershaw clipped to my pocket or a Leatherman in a holster.
>>34875565
P.S. now that I have reflected on that post I wrote I kinda think I come across as a douche bag. The point I am trying to make is that we all fucking love knives, guns, flashlights, lighters etc. and we all own a bunch of them. I'm just saying that if you carry all that shit around on you everyday its because you really love that stuff so much you want to show it off or just keep it with you all the time. I just like not carrying a bunch of shit around everyday. I'd rather just carry the stuff I need at the time.
>>34875574
No, you're missing the point. If I was going to use my knife, why wouldn't I just use my gun?
Having a non-lethal way to control people is nice. It also goes places weapons are barred from. Also, I use it to touch shit that gross normal people touch. I'm not getting any fucking normie germs on my hands.
>>34876319
I meant using your knife as a blunt-striking or palm packing tool, but your other two points stand. Isn't the thing a little bulky in the pants pocket, though? Or is it not too dissimilar to a pen?
>>34859133
>american wearing aussie army akubra
>>34876540
>Bulky
Have you seen this dude's apparent EDC glawks? I don't think he cares about bulk.
Pretty much everyone who has these in their EDC pics supposedly carries around like 20 things in their pockets, it's pretty funny. I wonder how much of the shit people post on here is actually an everyday carry, it blows my mind.
>>34873415
Heyy rofl
>>34876784
I am
>>34876540
>>34871880
and I do legitimately carry all of my stuff everyday (except I am not allowed my pistol at work, so that stays stowed away). A lot of the guys who carry fixed blade knives seem fishy, though. I could only really think to carry one on my belt, and that is not allowed in this state (or at least in this liberal hellhole of a city)
>>34876540
It's less bulky than keys.
A knife would be fine, I suppose, if you were just planning on hamfisting people with it. There are much better techniques that can be done with a proper pocket stick, though. A knife is too short to get the leverage needed for wrist locks/breaking, for example.
>>34876784
In komfy shorts:
Gun at 1:00, knife at 11:30.
Sounding rod either 9:00 IWB or in one of my pockets.
Phone in right pocket.
Wallet, if I have it, in left pocket.
>sure s o bulky how can he carry all that!
>hurr that's too much stuff!
It's like you are a little babby, not yet even a boy.
>>34877013
Knife IWB or in pocket, sheath tied to belt or belt loop. Concealed, yet quick to draw. P simple bro.
>>34877099
Makes enough sense. Have you taken any defense courses for knives?
>>34859195
>some faggot paid $50 for a gay hat
never forget
>>34877026
You weren't my target audience on that comment, did you not read where I said "like 20 things in their pockets". My EDC is pretty much like yours minus the sounding rod. I'm talking about the guys with a whole desk full of shit they post on here, don't get your enis in a unch.
>>34877547
You're not my benis' supervisor!
