I don't see the problem. Especially in big ass bombers, "pilots" are mostly there to a) have a man in the loop, and b) back up the autopilot. Since the chinks don't exactly care for the whole man-in-the-loop thing because they replaced it with fidelity to the party when they became communists, both of those things can easily be replaced (and done "better", by their metric) by a computer.

It makes sense from the PLAAF PoV.
