Why aren't replicas of these not sold by anyone?
Is that a toy?

It's the German Goliath tracked anti-tank mine
>>34850841
i would totally have an r/c goliath for shits and giggles.
Probably because it would end up costing more than a high-end sports car.

If what you say is true it's because what you said is false.

>ywn drive your goliath into Mako
>>34850961
How so? I can see it being expensive if you use the exsact materials they where made with, but if not it's just mostly the same as any other rc vehicle.
>>34850735
fucking british humor naming these goliaths...
>>34851117
The US called them beetle tanks.

Economy of scale. True if you made one 1/2 scale and out of plastic it would be cheap enough but to produce something that could be considered a replica would take quite a bit of material and shop-hours and those add up rather quickly.

Its kind of hard to understand the thought process that let something like this get military approval. In what situation would you rather have one of these mines instead of an anti-tank gun or a panzerfaust?
They built more than 12,000 of them but it seems like they could have gotten better value for money by building more panzerfaust and actual tanks.

Actually, our (the British Army) variant of these was called the Beetle. Only ours was wire-guided, not radio-controlled.
>>34851290
The german ones were also wire-controlled

What baffles me is that there is nothing, I have seen one replica on milweb, but other than that there has been nothing, no cheeply made ones, not anything.
