Hey /k/, since Gander Mountain is going out of business all their shit is like 60% off, and I saw an H&K p30s for $629 (normally ~$1000 . I am really tempted to get it, but at the same time I just bought a glock 23 last month. It is my first pistol, and I like it so far, but man the p30 looks nice.
I have the money to get the p30, but I am not sure if I should. Should I just stick with my glock for now until I get good at shooting?

If you have the money, get it.
You will not regret the purchase.
>>34842602
I mean, if you figure out you don't like it then turn it around for $800.
Get a VP9 instead

Yes, I love mine.
>>34842680
Don't do this, this anon is fucking stupid.
>>34842602
I'd get it. When I first got into handguns I bought a bunch of striker fired guns (mostly Glocks and some M&Ps) but my favorite has been my Sig P226 which is a hammer fired DA/SA like the P30.
Not to mention that HK guns are pretty beefy internally and will probably last hundreds of years.
>>34842706
>it's stupid to buy a better gun
>>34842740
Someone didn't watch the MAC torture test...
>>34842602
Get a CZ 75
>>34842783
Statistically you won't ever use your gun to defend in a home defense scenario, let alone use one shortly after being submerged in water/dirt/mud. If you want to buy a gun to larp then yes get a P30. If you want a gun that shoots better get a VP9.
>>34842602
You must buy the gun of John Wick.

Some of us actually leave our homes and encounter mother nature.

>t.P320 owner

>then turn it around for $800.
They are probably only going to fetch like $550 on the used market these days. The gun market is very depressed right now. I recently tried to sell my USP9 Compact and I had the thing listed for months at $600, then at $550. I finally got a single offer to buy it at $500.
>>34842868
You just like to larp. Its ok.
>>34842848
Can you not afford a P30? You don't have to justify your purchase, it's a fine pistol. The P30 is still better though.
Anybody have experience with the FN FNX?
I saw one listed locally and I kinda want it.
I'm an M&P/Glock Fag and I wanna try new things that aren't Milsurp German guns.

Holy shit!
I saw the follow up video and FN sent him a new gun that flexes less. But still. I live in Central Texas and it gets hot as balls and I don't want a gun melting on me.
>>34842917
I have an original FNP9 and it does not do that. Is that one particular gun or something the FNX generally does?
OP here.
Called and they said it is gone. Should have listened to my roommate yesterday but I didnt because he always makes impulse buys
F please for my freams of LARPing John Wick

Check Armslist.
I find deals on there sometimes.>>34843058
>Does it go off when you drop it?
If no, go for it.
>>34842602
I have a P30sk as my EDC and it's a great firearm. Go for it anon.
>>34842602
>saw an H&K p30s for $629 (normally ~$1000)
How? I bought my P2000SK v3 for 650 brand new.
The P30 is a fantastic gun, made for the german police. The VP9 is a gun made for the people that don't want a glock branded glock but a HK one. But it's not even that good at being a glock, so yeah, fuck it and get a P30.
>>34843082
I think CDNN has them for $699 still and HK is doing the 4 magazine rebate thing.
>>34842602
I prefer my p30 over my vp9, mainly because I like da/sa over strikershit
>>34842882
this guy is correct tho, ever since the vp9 poorfags have flooded the h&gay scene and depreciated all others value. you can find used p2k, p30, usp for $500 these days so they don't hold value anymore
>>34843674
SKs are cheaper than full size and P2000s are cheaper than P30s and USPs
https://www(dot)cdnnsports.com/p30l-9mm-longslide-da-sa-v3.html?___SID=U#.WY-fyOmQy70 hmmmmmm p30L here for $800... not as good of a deal but still tempting as fuckk
I said fuck it and bought two.
Although one is for my friend.
>>34845155
Shit I forgot to mention it was about the FNX
>>34842868
Yes. I'm one of those people. I've carried dozens of guns outdoors and I've never once had the elements negatively effect performance on anything.
>>34843707
Post a pic of your glock and VP9.
>>34844145
Basically anything that's still produced has lost value. This isn't exclusive to HK. It's a good thing, buy buy buy. History tells us these moments don't last forever.
>I-I swear guys, this $400 hk glock is WAY better than the newest HK hammerfired gun that has heritage dating back to the USP/p2000 series.
will these poorfags ever learn?
I probably shouldn't say too much about that though considering I want a p2000.
