Also 2 guns means it is much harder to aim at things since each gun must be aimed individually in order to hit precisely.

2 guns increases weight, maintenance cost, and unit cost. If you lose a turret, you lose 2 guns instead of 1.

Of course 2 guns can be beneficial with AA guns and fast-firing turrets that need 2 barrels in order to provide sufficient firepower without the same barrel
