Hey /k/ just bought this beauty from Gander Mountains going out of business sale.
$389 + tax
>>34840468
So you bought a 10 year old handgun from a company not known for making great handguns and overpaid...and you want us to bully you?
>>34840568
Not OP but...
> 10 years old
I think 2015 wasn't a decade ago
FN makes some of the best shit on the market and he got a great deal
God job OP I'm jelly, even if I like the all black model better.
>>34840568
found the glock queer
>>34840468
brand new gen 4 glock for 310.49
it was a misprint but they honored it
I bought a VP9 LE for 350 brand new. I think thats a pretty good deal.
>>34840616
I got a brand new glock 17 gen 4 for free!, I told the gun shop I was related to gaston glock and they honored it!.
>>34840604
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/FN_FNX
Developed in 05/06... Saw general use in 2007. 10 years old. Maybe you were thinking of the FNS?
>>34840880
>1911's
see why this is a retarded argument?
>>34840880
Maybe, is the 45 tactial that old? Man, time goes fast
>>34840468
god polymer is so fucking disgusting
>>34840604
>FN makes some of the best shit on the market and he got a great deal
pfffft

>>34840475
Hell, if they were always that price i might actually get one...
>>34840613
You say that like the FNS/FNX line aren't clearly mediocre tier.
>>34841364
I remeber when this faggot came here crying and shit posting for days.
You did good OP, I love my FNP-45 so much I'm thinking of getting one in 9 or 40.
100 Powerbelts and 60 T/C sabots for $75, also at a Gander Mountain that was closing.
Just bought a used fn p35 from Gander today. No grips and the slide was refinished in a carbon fiber look that I'm not too fond of, but for $225 I can live with it.
>>34841705
Weird, somehow I've managed to go over a decade in the firearms community without hearing someone call the BHP a FN P35.
Makes sense tho
>>34841815
Well, the p35 was never "officially" called a hi power by fn
saps 12 for 900 a month ago
late 40's 94 30-30 that was basically unused for 700 plus ammo
400 for a ppq 9mm back when they were kinda new, kinda hard to find and went for around 600
passed on a 1006 for 750 a year or so ago, still kicking my self.
>>34840468
USP .45 with M2 UTL for $500 on gunbroker.
>>34841852
>Well, the p35 was never "officially" called a hi power by fn
Are you retarded?
>Grande Puissance
Literally translates to "high power."
>>34840880
>Developed
They didn't build all the guns the same year and they have just been sitting on the shelves for 10 years
>>34841460
Lol the fuck handgun is better than the fnx line?
They are litterally top tier handguns
>>34842943
I've seen quite a few FN hp's, and no where did it say that on the pistol
>>34843059
That's just it...it's a FN handgun. They come out with a new one every 3 years and it flops.
>fnp
>fnx

>>34842836
Enjoy your outdated trash.
>>34842821
>passed on a 1006 for 750 a year or so ag
Three years ago i saw one in a pawn shop in florida for 500, didnt think to ask if they'd be willing to ship it.
Still hurts, man.
Got a used Glock 30S for 350. It's not like it's a great deal it's just the only deal I've ever made. Wouldn't mind selling it and getting a 19 though.
>>34843101
Old handguns didn't always display the model name on the gun itself.
>>34843852
Who hurt you, anon?
>>34840468
So I let wife keep debit card she comes home with this.
400 bucks in 9mm with a 50 box of critical defense
How pissed should I be /k/
>>34844558
Seeing as how the 2022 is dropsafe, you shouldn't be all that pissed off.
>>34842836
Pic>>34844582
Think she did it cause I carry
>Picrelated.jpeg
Seen differnt prices online trying see what yall think could get on resale.
Don't get me wrong it's nice balanced &quality.16+1 with nightsights it's hard to hate but think she overpayed.
DaMN she's already got a ppx in 9mm
Sooo...
>>34844558
It's a good pistol for noobs and women.
I keep one in my truck so I won't be mad when tweakers steal it.
>>34844984
>He's okay with arming criminals
Armslist, in three separate transactions.
>Buy older Mossberg 20ga for $160
>trade it for heavily used S&W M&P9
>cheap drop in trigger from gun show ($25)
>trade for BNIB Glock 21
I got a mint condition full size .45 Glock for $185 and a little legwork. Can't beat that. And everyone I dealt with thought they got a good deal.
>>34843879
>>34842821
I've had really good luck getting very good condition S&W autos for like $550; I'm talking no finish wear or any signs of use at all. 39-2, 459, 4506-1, all indistinguishable from new
I got a Parker Hale deer rifle built on a No.4 Mk.1 action for $100, A really good condition Winchester 1300 Defender for $200, and a Ruger P944 (.40 S&W P94) for $240
I got an early DSA Stg 58 kit rifle for $500.
Bought a Savage 17hmr for a couple hundred. Added a few rounds and extras. Traded for a capture m48. Bought some 8mm then traded for a rem 7600 .270 with a good Nikon. Bought some ammo and traded for a RRA LAR-15. Again, bought ammo. Added some mags and a rear sight. Traded for a Sig Swat 556 classic. Added an optic and a few mags. Traded for a DSA FAL with 8 good mags and case.
That was a two year trading line where each gun could have been in my collection but I saw something I wanted or posted them for sale and got good trade offers.
Don't get attached. Take a trade up in value even if you don't really want the gun. Eventually you will get something you really want.
The scope kind sucks. It didn't come with the rifle.
Today I just bought a Mossberg 500 for 200 bucks from a pawn shop in town. The thing has no wear and tear, it came with a nice real leather sling, and it's absolutely beautiful, with real wood and shit. I haven't done much research on it yet, but I couldn't say no for that price.
Does this seem like a decent price for a used PS90?

>>34840468
anyone got a mauser m2? one i have my eye on for 400 used... could probably talk guy down to less. what do?
>>34846111
Don't do it, trips anon.
I'm from a different area and I saw this exact listing from someone who also happened to register very recently.
>>34846494
Odd, I noticed that too but on different posts. There was a guy selling an OD PS90 for $700 in Texas which seemed too good to be true, and then I saw the same post from a guy in CO with the same exact wording.
Gotta watch out for scammers I guess.
>>34841705
At first I thought the slide was jeweled so I was horrified. Now I'm just disgusted
>>34843852
Well susy, even if it were actually outdated trash, the gun alone is still worth more than what he paid, so why bother with the weak ass bait
>>34840613
pfft. takes one to know one.
Picked up a like new stainless USP 9 compact from a gun show for tree fiddy and trade for a shitty mossberg 500 that had ejection issues. Didn't care much for the mossy for the short time that I owned it and I got more money on the trade value then I spent on it. I love the USP platform and want a full size, but there aren't any used USP 9s on the market where I'm at.
>>34840568
>judging firearms by how long ago they were developed
What a fucking idiot.
M44 mosin for 79 bucks at big 5
I miss the days of shooting just for the fun of the fireball
>>34840468
>$200 CAD for this sporter'd 1945 No.1 Mk.3 Enfield (bout $150 USD)
It's got a bright bore and is a very straight shooter
>supposedly new condition Mk23
>$1400
Someone stop me
Yugo M48 all matching parts $250. Things beautiful. Like its never been shoot.
>>34846115
>Sig
Looks like a piece of shit breh. Better get a Glock.
>>34842943
Literally translates to "giant pussy"
>>34846115
that weird lever on the back of the slide you can't see in the pic...
>>34846691
Ganders gunsmiths have done worse, they had a Browning hp with a shit brown digital camo finish on the slide. For $225, I can live with the carbon fiber look on the slide of mine.
>>34840604
>>34840613
>>34840880
The FNX is bretty gud, but FN really fucking sucks for handguns (sans Hi-Power and unironically FiveseveN). You youngsters haven't watched FN's handgun market.
>FN DA just a Hi-Power with DA/SA discontinued.
>Browning BDM was good idea, but discontinued
>FN 49 was first polymer which flopped hard
>FNP was quickly discontinued
>FNX was really good
>FNS has issues and absolutely horrid FCG
>509 already having issues
Every single one of them was discontinued in <10 years, and all had proprietary magazines with no real spare parts.
Pre-War FN pistols were based as fuck, but modern FN pistols are really shit along with FN's shitty attitude for non .mil or large LEO organizations.
>>34850887
But thw fnx isn't discontinued tho
>>34851086
but look at FN's service pistol history as soon as the Hi-Power fell out of favor. It's always been new pistol with slight upgrades with proprietary upgrades every 5-10 years without fail.
Even H&K and Sig learned from this with magazine compatibility with P30/VP9 and P250/P320. Beretta is guilty of this with the PX4/Cougar/APX all using non-legacy 92 pattern magazines.
>>34840468
I got one of these copper cylinder Ruger LCRs for $350.
>>34851284
But fns and fnx, maybe 509 have the same mag
>>34841705
I got this one for 175 from gander. No mag, but those are cheap.
Got all three for $225. Replica Colt 1860, replica Colt Pocket, and some Dikar kit gun.
>>34848027
You overpaid
$225
>>34851381
I hate you
>>34840468
Price: Free
Gift from my pa
$440
Pre-owned but near mint condition, the whole box and both magazines, PLUS the store was having a 10% off anything pre-owned sale.
>>34851361
Nice
>>34851388
Gifts don't count.
I bought an 870 express from my coworker for $100 and had it sold the next day for $225.
>>34840468
got a "fresh"cosmoline coated SKS from a gun store near my work by trading my wasr and a handful of cheap magazines that i had gotten for about 4 bucks a pop.
when I first got the wasr I did not look down the barrel so never saw the pitting and torn up rifling. FFL buddy told me it was a $100 rifle at best
Sig Sauer X-Five AL SO for 1200 euros.
Previous owner bought it, shot one box of ammo through it (before my eyes) and decided it sucked because he wasn't hitting anything with it.
I bought it. A little later, I was shooting it next to him, and he commented on how well it shot. I had to remind him that it had been his and he got rather miffed.
>>34848221
>supposedly new condition Mk23
>$1400
How is that a good deal? Even NIB it should be cheaper if second hand... At least inna euroland it would be.
>>34851422
100$ for the pair at a garage sale
Mind the butter knife, couldnt find my mosin tool
>>34851445
>euroland
I'm in burgertown and most NIB Mk23s cost somewhere between $1700-1900
Bought an fr8 for 230 and sold it for 400. It did not like to feed.
Got a 4" colt cobra in .38 for 187 usd, that's probably the coolest deal.
Got a 686-3 with 2.5" barrel for around the same.
My beretta cheetah 81 cost me 375 usd with two mags.
my self defense j-frame cost me less than 200 bucks.
I'd say i'm pretty lucky.

T. 1911 owner
Paid $225 at an auction 2 years ago for a perfect condition, all matching 1914 Swedish M96.
Paid $175 for a very nice all matching Russian m44 at an auction this past March.
$365 1 week ago at my LGS, an all matching 51 Tula SKS with a very light refurb (just a stock refinish.)
I've gotten decent deals over the past couple years, but those might be my best.
$200 cash from a friend earlier this spring. felt a little guilty about it so I gave him one of my redundant older .22's as well
>>34845775
He's okay with taking bait
$150 at a local gun show
$275 NIB at a LGS
>>34851413
Where at? This sounds oddly familiar.
$185 at a pawn shop
>>34846115
cool obscure gat
>>34854831
that's a good fucking deal, love it when autism in knowing old guns pays off
