Most 'aesthetic' things are just memes. It's kind of insulting and completely ruined the word entirely.

'90 here, I actually don't remember those cups from my childhood though I do remember that style of decal being on some vehicles such as the bottom comment I linked here. Also seen it on both cars and trucks as I recall, but on cups? Nope. Was it perhaps an American thing? I grew up poor and in a small town that was a 2-hour drive away from anything fancy like McDonald's, WalMart, or anything like that.

Probably explains why I don't remember those cups. Didn't really experience much in the way of food courts until, oh, 2000 and even then it was just once. 2003-4 was more when I actually started checking the places out but I recall them always having branded cups. Ultimately, even today I don't often go to food courts because I don't often go to malls. Now, fewer and fewer people are going to malls largely due to the convenience of shopping online so it would seem more and more malls are being shut down. Things continue to change, the internet has only been around for 27-28 years or so yet it has already affected so many aspects of day-to-day life.

God only knows what things will be like in 2043-44, and interestingly enough unless some of us live in fucking Africa or somewhere like that, we may very well all be alive when those years come. Pretty sure the average life expectancy in the US for men is around 76-79 and in Canada/UK/Australia it's around 80-82 or so. At 1985 you're probably older than average on 4Chan in general if I had to guess (that's not to say you're the oldest though of course, obviously not, probably some guys lurking here and there who were born in the 70s or even 60s though I wager they're few and far between) so you'll still be in your 50s by then. Even if you live an unhealthy lifestyle you're still likely to be alive.

Where do you think you'll be in the 2040s? Where would you LIKE to be in the 2040s? What can you do right NOW in order to get there?
