If your bear gun isn't a rifle or 3" or greater shotgun using magnum slugs, it's not a good bear gun.

Considering pistol hunting was half the reason it was created (the other half being steel target shooting, dont believe the engine block meme), I would say yes.

In theory, but there's a lot of ifs. No unjacketed ammo, handling is specific, and you'll want to clean it rather often.
I would also suggest handloading to get the most performance vs. cost out of your Deagle, cheap off the shelf ammo will make it choke, it's too weak, it needs to be real hot, and ideally heavy, hence handloading will let you do that at better prices.

That said, it's got soft recoil, .44 Magnum and .50AE hits hard, and the gun is as precise as a laser, so if you know how to handle it, it can perform.

In .50 or .44? I thought .44 mag would be bad but I got a fuckhuge pistol for it so it barely recoils at all. I don't shoot autos but I imagine they have more recoil due to the slide coming back like it does.

On automatics, the action actually takes away recoil from the fired shot.

The Desert Eagle is heavy, and gas operated, the .44 Magnum ones are comparable to shooting a 1911

>On automatics, the action actually takes away recoil from the fired shot.
I knew that was true for rifles but wasn't sure if it held up for pistols since the action goes over your hand so naturally I think it would rise/kick more.

No. They are not reliable

Subjective.

Don't limpwrist or teacup, and don't feed it MagTech tier garbage and you're at a good start.
>>
>>34841920
I feed both mine with 44c so your opinion is invalid on what it can take.

magtech is garbage ammunition from the third world country Brazil. How often do you hear of police officers in the US carrying magtech ammo? never!
